Ok, so this keeps popping up on Pinterest - of which I'm a huge fan - but this "free shit is cool" mentality is something I find incredibly funny.
At work, we leave boxes of trial contact lens solutions on the counter. They're free. Many of my patients first think that they're samples of artificial tears, which I am quick to clear up: "No ma'am, that's contact lens cleaning solution." Most leave it at that and go on their way. But a surprising amount respond "But they're free, right?"
Yes. Yes they are.
