Running the Bus

For those of you unfamiliar with bus transportation and the funness to be had, I will take the time to explain a few 'bus' related games.

The first one is: Running the Bus.

The game: You arrive at your primary stop either on time or early. You must then make the bet as to whether or not you can run to the next stop before the bus gets there. If you loose the bet, you have to wait for the next bus - bummer.

In Colorado this is a difficult game - not only do the buses run on time, but the stops are at least 5 blocks apart.

Out here, this game is not only easy but somewhat of a hoot. The stops are so close together and honestly the traffic is so bad you can out run the bus if you both start at the same stop.

For some reason, running alongside stopped traffic drives me to mad fits of giggles, if only for number of poor saps I'm passing by.
