Frivolity

Now that I'm working I fell like I'm being ridden by a demonic green monkey that's driving me to spend money.

I want I want I want. GIVE IT TO ME.

I want running pants, bags, shoes, dolls, games, scrubs, crafty things, books...

This is really only based on previous habits. After graduating from college, when my expenses dropped and my paycheck increased, I took up the mantra - I Work to Spend. Which was great really, the publishers couldn't even keep up with my 'manga habit.' I outfitted myself with everything I wanted - I wasn't married either so my money only ever answered to me.

But now... we (I) have even more money... and when you have even more money you have the chance to do something with it - but only if you save it.

::sigh::

I am going to buy that backpack though.
