I plugged in my printer.
It's a Canon iP4500.
As soon as I plugged it in, Ubuntu notified me that it had found a iP4500 and that the drives were installed.
Woo, that was pretty slick.
One little bitty problem...
it won't print.
It just feeds paper through. It gets the correct number of pages, it just doesn't put down any ink. The test page just runs through as well. The print head doesn't even move from the dock...
The printer tells me it's doing just peachy, all the settings are good, inks full... Ubuntu has it set as default, shows all the fancy printing options in the configuration...
Debate: Do I 1) hit the forums and spend a couple of hours trying to fix the problem? 2) try the scanner? 3) Fuck it all and watch anime - on my laptop?
