I have arrived home from NY.
In the annals of weird ass states, Pennsylvania is right up there. They paint gigantic dots on their roads (see my flickr page), they've got a thing for Adult stores without windows (we saw 5 on one road alone), and there is an awkwardly high population of dilapidated buildings mixed in with the well-kept ones... It's kinda like a slightly upscale version of Ward, you know, the kind of place where you could leave a body in the woods and no one would be the wiser...
