    On books

I've decided to read the 5th Harry Potter book. I read it way back when and I didn't like it. Harry was such a brat. But now that I'm reading it again, I find I don't remember half of it. Strange. There are a couple books in my life that I have a mental block on. One of which I don't like. I bought it, read it, and sold it back. Hardly a year later I saw it in the book store and bought it again. I was more than half way through (still not liking it) thinking to myself - "this is all vaguely familiar... I think I've read this before..." Yep. This time I didn't sell it back so I could remember that I'd read it. The thing is, I read the back every once in awhile, and for the life of me I can't remember the story. And the back is so compelling... Odd. The other book is one I enjoy which really throws me for a loop. I look at the cover and read the back...I know I've read it. I know it. I know I've read it more than once. But it takes almost 10 chapters before I remember the story. Even then, I can't remember the ending. Ha ha. Thats a good book.
