    Noodles

This is the conversation I had with myself in the shower:

me: あれは わたしの くるまですか。 (This is how I would write car right now)

other me: いいえ、あれは タルマギさんの 車じゃありません。 (The computer automatically put the kanji for car in and I was so proud of myself for recognizing it! I also made up my name...sounds right, I guess...)

    me: あ、そですか。 あれは ヲルポフさんの 車ですか。

other me: はい、 あれは ヲルポフさんの 車です。

Here's the translation (well, what I'm trying to say anyway):

    me: Is that my car?

other me: No, that is not your car.

me: Oh, really? Is that Mr. Wolpoff's car?

other me: Yes, that's Mr. Wolpoff's car.

Isn't that the best conversation ever?? I think my way of stating things is inefficient among other things, but I could get my point across. The other kanji I know are: 本(book) 日本(Japan) 囲碁(Go, as in the game)
