My bike shorts are dusty.
Well they were this morning anyway.
I had planned to go biking yesterday, but I woke up to rain...drat. I even made a special bike bento. Ah well, I made cards instead and moved my ride to today (with another bike bento).
Here's a map of my route. I took the top trail along Curtis Memorial Parkway. It's about a 24 mile ride (total). Not bad for a starter. There are some hills but nothing Colorado-esk. I know, that sounds so elitist. :P Anyway, the trails here are awesome! Very well kept. Everything is labeled with road signs, which is only hilarious because regular roads are so horribly marked. There are tons of parks and workout stations and you come across water fountains every few miles along with benches and picnic tables. My only upset was on the W&OD trail which intersects with traffic every 100 yards or so. Trail users have no right of way and traffic could care less if you're there. Which leads to a lot of stop and go biking. I can see why clipless is not so popular here.
